Liquid soaps are a wonderful way to add extra cleaning power and fragrance to your cleaning products. I like Vermont Soaps because they are organic, gentle and effective. My favorite soaps for cleaning are the Country Lavender and Tea Tree.
Recipe for general purpose cleaning: You will only need to add a tablespoon or two to your mixture of vinegar and water and you have a household cleaner that leaves eveything smelling fresh and clean.
- 1/4 cup of vinegar
- 3/4 cup of water
- 1 tablespoon of liquid castille soap
- 2 drops essential oil
Mix ingredients in a spray bottle. Best to recycle an old one and use a marker to indicate for general purpose cleaning. You can add olive oil to this mixture to use on wood floors and furniture.
